Blue&Green, “Hotels with a new attitude”, has created a new concept of fun in a space dedicated to our youngest guests. The Koala Club now offers an indoor and outdoor theme park whose motto is “Fun with creativity and quality in a safe environment”.

Its diverse entertainment programme has a new format. Children who join this club can enter a fantasy world where they will become true explorers in the company of professional entertainers and the characters “Koala” and “Kookaburra”.

To build this theme park, Blue&Green Hotels relied on the dedication of Jürgen Bergmann, the German sculptor in charge of facilities, Christian Angenvoort, who has worked for “Warner Bros. Movie World”, and Pedro Teixeira, an internationally recognised name in the world of digital animation, who gave life to the characters and developed the Koala Club cartoon.

This new chapter in the club’s history, developed for our youngest customers, begins to the tune of its own theme song, written by the Portuguese film composer João Oliveira.

• Low Season (from January until  March 24/ November/ December: open without supervision and when accompanied by parents
• Medium Season (March 24 until June 6/ September 16 until October 30): open from Wednesday to Sunday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
• High Season (Easter/ May 25 until September 15): open every day from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm - night activities on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 to 10:30 pm
• Closing dates: Until April/2012 (except in Carnival and Easter)
• Baby-sitting (upon request)
• Prices on request

In accordance with the Blue&Green philosophy, the Koala Club has taken special steps toward caring for the environment by following all safety standards and receiving TUV certification.
